Hautgels in situ gebildet.

Silicea coll. comp. gel will be on the market again, but with a new name: Silicea colloidalis comp. Hautgel will be the future nameofa product originally developed by Rudolf Hauschka (1891-1969). Rudolf Steiner's (1861-1925) insights relating to the silica process were the basis on which it was once decided to develop the product as a skin tonic and to strengthen the neurosensory system, especially in case of headache and migraine. The range of indications has changed, however, and today Silicea colloidalis comp. Hautgel is used more for boundary problems of the skin, such as dermatitis, weeping eczema or a tendency to develop mycosis. Colloidal silica is developed in situ during the manufacture of the skin gel, using sodium silicate as the starting material. When optimizing the formulation, the product was tested on an in vitro skin model. Skin tolerance of Silicea colloidalis comp. Hautgel proved to be very good.
