Die rechtlich-politische Situation der Anthroposophischen Medizin weltweit - eine Standortbestimmung

Wie steht es heute um die rechtliche Anerkennung der Anthroposophischen Medizin weltweit? Anthroposophische Medizin eine Weltbewegung? Was ist die gesellschaftspolitische Relevanz dieser Medizin in der Welt? Wie viele anthroposophische Ärzte und Therapeuten, akademische und klinische Einrichtungen gibt es eigentlich? Wie ist die rechtliche Lage der anthroposophischen Arzneimittel? Es werden die Ergebnisse aus einer Mitglieder-Umfrage der IVAA dargestellt, die in den Jahren 2011–2012 erhoben wurde. Weltweit gibt es ca. 3.200 voll ausgebildete anthroposophische Ärzte, ca. 8.000 Therapeuten, die in 24 Krankenhäusern und ca. 180 Therapeutika sowie in Einzelpraxen Anthroposophische Medizin betreiben. Einen legalen Status als selbstständige Therapierichtung hat die Anthroposophische Medizin lediglich in Deutschland, Lettland, auf den Philippinen und in der Schweiz. Die größte Bedrohung ist derzeit die inadäquate Rahmengesetzgebung im Arzneimittelrecht der EU, die unmittelbare Auswirkung auf die Verfügbarkeit der anthroposophischen Arzneimittel in der Welt hat und somit das wichtigste Instrument der Anthroposophischen Medizin infrage stellt. Deshalb ist die Europapolitik derzeit einer der wichtigsten Arbeitsschwerpunkte der IVAA, ohne dabei die Belange der Weltbewegung hintanzustellen.
The world-wide legal and political situation of anthroposophical medicine— a position statement
How is the situation of anthroposophic medicine worldwide with regard to political and legal acknowledgement? Is anthroposophic medicine a world movement? Has anthroposophic medicine any political significance? What is the number of anthroposophic doctors, therapists, hospitals and academic institutes? What is the legal situation of anthroposophic medicinal products? Some results of a survey are presented, which the IVAA run in 2011–2012 within their member associations. Worldwide there are about 3200 fully trained anthroposophic doctors, about 8000 anthroposophic therapists, who work in 24 hospitals, 180 outpatients’ centres and in single practices. Anthroposophic medicine has a legal basis as a special medical system only in Germany, Latvia, on the Philippines and in Switzerland. The greatest threat today is the insufficient European pharmaceutical framework with respect to anthroposophic medicine, which has direct impact on the availability of anthroposophic medicinal products worldwide depriving anthroposophic medicine of its most important instrument. For this reason the IVAA has to put highest emphasis on the political work in Europe without forgetting the needs of the world movement.
