Das Frühgeborene erblickt vor der Zeit das Licht der Welt. Es lässt seine Hüllorgane Amnion, Nabelschnur und Plazenta zu früh zurück. Intrauterin erfüllen diese Organe wesentliche Aufgaben bei der Menschwerdung. Sie ermöglichen Wachstum, Bindung und die Entwicklung der kindlichen Individualität. Die Wahrnehmung der Bedeutung des frühen Verlustes dieser Hüllorgane für das Kind erlaubt uns, passende pflegerische Gesten zu entwickeln. Diese werden in all unseren pflegerischen Handlungen sicht- und fühlbar, sodass das Kind auch extrauterin die nährende, verbindende und stärkende Kraft dieser Organe spüren und geborgen in seiner Familie ankommen kann.
Enveloping in neonatology – developing human-centred care for the premature infant and their parents
The premature baby sees the light of day before its time. It leaves behind its enveloping organs amnion, umbilical cord and placenta too early. Intrauterine, these organs fulfill essential tasks in becoming a human being. They enable growth, bonding and the development of the child’s individuality. The perception of the importance of the early loss of these enveloping organs for the child allows us to develop appropriate nursing gestures. These gestures are visible and tangible in all our care activities so that the child can feel the nurturing, connecting and strengthening power of these organs evenextrauterine and arrive securely in its family.
