Bei WALA Echinacea Mund- und Rachenspray handelt es sich um ein Arzneimittel der anthroposophischen Therapierichtung, das aus phytotherapeutisch dosierten und homöopathisch potenzierten Einzelbestandteilen zusammengesetzt ist. Im Rahmen einer Anwendungsbeobachtung dokumentierten niedergelassene Zahnärzte 72 Therapieverläufe mit WALA Echinacea Mund- und Rachenspray. Die Patienten wendeten das Spray nach einer Parodontalbehandlung 3 mal täglich an. Die Zahnärzte kontrollierten den Gingivabefund vor der Behandlung sowie nach 7 und ^Tagen. Sie erfassten Rötung, Schwellung, lokales Schmerzempfinden, Blutung nach Sulkussondierung, Exsudation und Ulzeration des Zahnfleisches. Die Wirksamkeit wurde nach siebenTagen von mehrals 85 % der Ärzte und Patienten als „zufriedenstellend" bis „gut" bezeichnet. Mehr als 90 % schätzten die Verträglichkeit des Echinacea Mund- und Rachensprays als „gut" bis „sehr gut" ein.
WALA Echinacea Mouth and Throat Spray is a preparation based on the principles of anthroposophical medicine and contains individual ingredients in homeopathic potencies and phytotherapeutic doses.To study the efficacy and tolerability of WALA Echinacea Mouth and Throat Spray in clinical use, the effects and side effects were examined in 72 patients in practices of dentists. After parodontal treatment, the patients used the remedy 3 times daily.The course of gingivitis was controlled before the beginning of the parodontal treatment, after 7 and after 14 days. Reddening, swelling, local sense of pain, bleeding after sulcus probe, exsudation and ulceration of the gingiva were recorded. After 7 days, the efficacy was assessed as "satisfying" or "good" by 85 % of the patients and the dentists.The tolerability was assessed as "very good" to "good".
