In Deutschland wird momentan jedes dritte Kind per Kaiserschnitt geboren, in manchen Landkreisen sogar fast jedes zweite. Was für eine Geburtshilfe leben wir in Havelhöhe? Können wir mit einer individuellen Betreuung dem Weg des Kindes in das Erdenleben respektvoll begegnen? Können wir Mütter in ihrer eigenen Kompetenz für Schwangerschaft und Geburt stärken?
Der Beitrag zeigt, wie am Gemeinschaftskrankenhaus Havelhöhe dem „Alles-am-Menschen-ist-machbar“ eine interventionsarme Geburtshilfe entgegengestellt wird, die auf der inneren Haltung einer guten Ich-zu-Ich-Begegnung basiert.
Obstetrics at Havelhoehe Community Hospital
At present, every third child is born by caesarean section in Germany, in some rural areas almost every second child. What kind of obstetrics do we practise at Havelhoehe? Are we able to provide individual care to treat the infant’s way into life on earth with respect? Are we able to support the competence of mothers to deal with pregnancy and giving birth?
The paper shows how at the Havelhoehe Community Hospital the ‘everything is feasible in human medicine’ attitude is replaced by low-intervention obstetrics based on the inner attitude of a good I-to-I encounter.
