In diesem Artikel wird die kulturübergreifende Verwendung von Placenta humana in den Kontext komplexer integrativer Medizinsysteme wie Anthroposophische Medizin, Chinesische Medizin und Homöopathie gestellt. Es zeigen sich bei der Indikation als Heilmittel interessante Überschneidungen beispielsweise für Schwäche- und Mangelerkrankungen. Placenta humana wird als vitalisierendes, kräftigendes Heilmittel angewendet. Eine exakte Indikationsstellung gemäß des jeweiligen integrativen Medizinsystems ist notwendig.
Placenta as a remedy – A comparative view
This article discusses the cross-cultural use of human placenta as a remedy in the context of complex integrative systems of medicine such as Anthroposophic Medicine, Chinese Medicine and homeopathy. The indication for this remedy shows interesting overlaps e. g. for treatment of exhaustion- or deficiency-syndromes. Human placenta is used as a vitalizing, invigorating remedy. An exact indication according to the respective integrative medicine system is necessary.
