The perspective of Anthroposophic Medicine for pneumology

The article gives an overview of the current treatment options for obstructive, fibrosing and inflammatory lung diseases as well as lung carcinoma. It traces the advances in pulmonology over the last hundred years, but also points out the limitations, especially with regard to the indication and availability of the state-of-the-art procedures. It is precisely here that the potential of anthroposophical medical approaches becomes apparent, which will gain in importance not least because of the looming climate change and the associated consequences for our health.
