The therapeutic aim is to support the soul body activity in the air organism, to enable it to immerse itself in the rhythmically flowing movement of the etheric body.

The therapeutic approach

  • The sound “R”
    “R”
is the actual ‘air sound’. When moving it in different variations, we should pay special attention to the upper and lower part of the gestures and to the enjoyment of the movements, so that the air organism, which is blocked and cramped, can be released and brought into a healthy connection with the fluid organism of the digestive organization.
To this end we can also employ firm walking and descending rhythms (trochee or dactyl, especially backwards), which have a decelerating and thus also a releasing and loosening effect.

  • Transform the “primal S” exercise into “S”
Transform “primal S” into “S”. Do the “S” with a jump or while sitting: the “S” can also be drawn with the feet on the floor, or form it with the legs in an ‘O’ position. The “O” forms a kind of vessel, through which the formative forces can pass as if from above to below.

  • “Sympathy” and “Antipathy”
“Sympathy” and “antipathy”, performed with the feet as a dexterity and endurance exercise, lead the soul body downwards and bring it into rest and stability. This enables the release of painful tension in the abdominal area.

  • The sound “A”
The sound “A” can also help to anchor the soul body in the physical body in a healthy way, through the gesture’s ordering and stabilizing effect reaching into the patient’s back area. Rudolf Steiner described this in the following way: “When you speak or move the sound ‘A’, you are actually lowering your soul body into your physical body as well as possible. This results in wellbeing.” (1)

Phase IV trial: Kalium phosphoricum comp. versus placebo in irritability and nervousness
In a new clinical study, Kalium phosphoricum comp. (KPC) versus placebo was tested in 77 patients per group. In a post-hoc analysis of intra-individual differences after 6 weeks treatment, a significant advantage of KPC vs. placebo was shown for characteristic symptoms of nervous exhaustion and nervousness (p = 0.020, p = 0.045 respectively). In both groups six adverse events (AE) were assessed as causally related to treatment (severity mild or moderate). No AE resulted in discontinuation in treatment. KPC could therefore be a beneficial treatment option for symptomatic relief of neurasthenia. The study has been published open access in Current Medical Research and Opinion
